Shattered Ice centers on a small-town New England teenage hockey player’s attempt to navigate high school when his best friend dies by suicide.
Directed by Alex Ranarivelo and starring Charlie Gillespie in a stunning breakout performance, Shattered Ice explores the ties that bind us together in small-town communities and the courage it takes to share our deepest emotions in the world of sports.
The goal of the film is to normalize the conversations around suicide, raise awareness, tell a powerful story and send the message that there is light at the end of the tunnel, even in the most difficult and darkest times.
