Celebrating the 25th anniversary of its annual Drive for a Difference Golf Classic and Auction at Pleasant Valley Country Club earlier this month, Reliant Foundation raised more than $208,000 in support of its Community Grants Program. Event proceeds add to the more than $6 million raised through this event since its inception.
“We could not have asked for a better day to celebrate 25 years of Drive for a Difference – the weather was beautiful, the golf course was full, the auction items were spectacular, and the energy was amazing,” said Kelsa Zereski, President of Reliant Foundation. “As we’ve seen year after year, our participants, sponsors and volunteers were incredibly supportive – they truly helped us make this year special.”
Following the round, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception featuring music by local recording artist, Cara Brindisi, dinner and awards. The evening’s program premiered the Foundation’s annual Impact Video, highlighting area nonprofits who were funded through the 2022 Community Grants Program.
The event’s auction offered supporters the opportunity to bid online throughout the day and featured exclusive getaways, concerts, dining experiences, sporting events, and more.
Proceeds from Drive for a Difference will allow Reliant Foundation to continue supporting nonprofit organizations in the region that provide programs and services to address mental health and behavioral health (particularly for children and youth), recovery programming for individuals battling substance use disorder, and initiatives aimed at eliminating the stigma associated with these issues.
More than 35 local organizations and individuals provided sponsorship of the event, including: North Bridge Wealth Management, Country Bank, Mass General Brigham Health Plan, Dr. Marianne Felice, The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation, Point32Health Foundation, Dr. Robert Klugman, Fallon Health, Harmony Health Group, and Robert Half.
