Kelsa L. Zereski

Kelsa Zereski is a fundraising and grantmaking expert with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and community development. Kelsa has guided the organization’s growth in both donor engagement and philanthropic impact since 2008. Through her leadership, the Foundation has expanded its annual grantmaking capacity and supported over one hundred public charities across Central and MetroWest Massachusetts investing millions over time to improve community health. Kelsa is known for her hands-on approach, personally visiting dozens of nonprofit programs and collaborating closely with all stakeholders.
Kelsa earned her B.A. in Marketing from Assumption College and received an Honorary Doctor of Public Administration from Anna Maria College in 2025. She was named one of Worcester Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2003. Most recently Kelsa completed the Power and Influence for Positive Impact Certificate Program at Harvard Business School. She is also certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.
A respected leader in the philanthropic community, Ms. Zereski has served as Trustee on several nonprofit boards, including the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts, Nativity School of Worcester, the former Higgins Armory Museum, and Seven Hills Foundation. She also contributes her time and expertise as a corporator or volunteer with organizations such as Bay State Bank, Be Like Brit, EcoTarium, Greater Worcester Community Foundation, Stoneleigh-Burnham School, and the YMCA of Central Massachusetts. She regularly participates in local grantmaking committees and is a current Trustee of the George F. & Sybil H. Fuller Foundation.
An avid equestrian for almost 50 years, Kelsa is part owner of Triple Crown Tack Shop, a local equestrian retail business. She is a member of Worcester Country Club, as well as the Worcester Club where she serves on the Board of Directors. A lifelong Massachusetts resident, she lives in Boylston with her husband, Don, and is the proud parent of two adult sons and is also a new grandparent.
