Tom Sullivan initially joined the Reliant Foundation board as the treasurer and now serves as the current Board Chair.
Tom has been a partner of Sullivan, Garrity and Donnelly Insurance Agency since 1973, shortly after receiving his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
Tom is a life-long community volunteer, having served as a Chair, President, or Board member of the following organizations: Past President and Board Member, Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services, Inc.; Past President and Board Member, Guild of St. Agnes Day Care; Past Board Member, Bancroft School; Former Co-Chair of Parents Committee and Ex Officio Trustee, St. Mark’s School, Southborough, MA; Former Chair, Diocese of Worcester Bishop’s Fund; Former Chair, Holy Cross College President’s Council; Former Board Member, Worcester Historical Museum; Past President, Worcester Country Club; Former Board Member, Y.O.U., Inc.; and Former Chair, Town of Shrewsbury, Donohue Rowing Center Advisory Board.
In addition to serving as Board Chair of Reliant Foundation, Tom currently serves as; Massachusetts Assurance Company LTD, Board of Directors; Cape Cod Community College Foundation, Board of Directors; Hanover Theatre, Board of Directors. Tom received the Boy Scouts of America Mohegan Council Award in 2011, recognizing him as a leader in the community that exemplifies the 12 qualities of the Scout Law in work, life and service to others.
Tom completed his undergraduate studies at the College of the Holy Cross and has stayed involved in his alma mater as a rowing coach, winning several of the following awards: Joy of Sculling Coaching Conference Coach of the Year-2005; irow.com Coach of the Year-2002; Milton R. Higgins Award for Distinguished Service, Bancroft School-1993; Holy Cross College Athletic Hall of Fame-1996, and U.S. Rowing Award for Service, Champion Regatta-1993.
Tom lives in Chatham, MA with his wife Kathleen. He has three adult children.
