Largest Annual Distribution in Foundation History
Reliant Foundation has announced its annual Community Grant awards to 56 area nonprofit organizations totaling $1 million. This is the largest distribution in the Foundation’s history. Reliant Foundation’s mission-driven grants program is focused on strengthening mental health and behavioral health resources for children and youth; helping individuals of all ages reach recovery from substance use; building the pipeline of professionals to provide mental health, behavioral health, and recovery services; and supporting initiatives to reduce stigma around mental health and substance use. Over the past 7 years, the Foundation has provided nearly $5.5 million in funding to area nonprofits.
“We are incredibly proud to be reaching the $1 million mark for the first time with our Community Grants program,” said Reliant Foundation president Kelsa Zereski. “Many of our grantees have shared how our increased giving has significantly impacted their ability to provide life-changing programs. We are immensely grateful to our donors and volunteers for their trust and support of our mission and to our Board of Trustees for their commitment to expanding our impact.”
“Our Foundation trustees feel fortunate to be able to support these essential programs at such meaningful levels – it’s a testament to all those who support our efforts each year and put their faith in the Foundation to steward the funds effectively,” said Kristine Bostek, Reliant Foundation Board Chair. “We look forward to growing our giving and helping our fellow community members get the services they need to survive and thrive.”
