First race in three-part “5K for Good Series” benefiting local nonprofits
“The Reliant Foundation 5K is more than a race — it’s a chance to bring the community together to support mental and behavioral health programs, advance substance use prevention and recovery, break the stigma around seeking help, and promote wellness for all,” says Kelsa Zereski, Reliant Foundation President. “This family-friendly event welcomes runners and walkers of all paces to enjoy the beautiful course around Indian Lake while making a real difference.”
The schedule for the entire series is as follows:
- Reliant Foundation 5K — Saturday, October 4, Shore Park, Worcester
- Abby’s House Hybrid 5K Run/Walk — Saturday, October 18, West Boylston High School, West Boylston
- Veterans Inc. Run4Veterans 5K— Sunday, November 2, Polar Park, Worcester
Participants who complete all three races will earn special series swag and prizes.
