Refreshed Positioning Reflects Evolving Needs of Community and Foundation’s Renewed Commitment to Health-Focused Philanthropy in Central and MetroWest Massachusetts
Reliant Foundation has today unveiled a new set of Vision, Mission, and Values Statements that reaffirm its commitment to advancing community health and strengthening nonprofit partnerships across Central and MetroWest Massachusetts. The unveiling comes after the Foundation awarded more than $1 million in Community Grants for the second consecutive year.
The updated statements reflect the Foundation’s evolution and continued focus on strategic philanthropy, collaboration, and meaningful community impact in the areas of mental health, behavioral health, and substance use disorder. They will serve as a guiding framework for grantmaking, partnerships, and organizational decision-making in the years ahead.

The Foundation’s newly articulated values underscore its approach to working with donors, nonprofit partners, and community leaders:

“These statements clearly express and confirm who we are, what we do, and how we do it,” said Kelsa Zereski, Reliant Foundation President. “They reinforce our responsibility to be thoughtful stewards of donor funds while working collaboratively to address the most pressing community health needs in our service area.”
The new Mission, Vision and Values will guide the Foundation’s strategic priorities and strengthen alignment with partners working to improve community health outcomes, expand access to critical mental health and behavioral health programming, build resilient communities throughout the region, and reduce the stigma that is too often associated with mental health, behavioral health, and substance use disorder.
